As some people mentioned, this is just the exact same WSOP game they made, with a different title. Thats it. Why release the exact same game under a new name? Because WSOP got a horrible reputation for cheating people (that and not actually offering multiplayer when they claimed it had it). So once their fraud was uncovered, they just changed the name. For those of you unfamiliar with how they cheat you: In low stakes games, its more or less fair. But in higher stakes games, they use a tactic called "leveling". When youre down to the last 4-5 people, notice that one will have a huge chip pile and the others are low. But within a few hands, they all have the same amount. If one of them gets low, all the other AI players will bet to increase the pot, and then fold so that the low AI player is brought even again. If one of them bets a hand but you fold, everybody will just call/check or fold. But if YOU bet the hand and stay in, they will aggressively raise you to try and force you out. If you manage to win a hand, the other AI players chip in to bring the low player up again. Basically instead of playing against multiple AI players all trying to win, youre playing against a team. Add in the fact that you will literally have garbage with the flop no matter how good the hole cards (which doesnt really matter because 95% of the hands, at least one of your hole cards will be a 4 or lower anyway) - And you quite literally cant win. Why bother with the scam, you ask? Because they want you to buy chips and their in-game cheats called "second chances" where for $1.99 you can get more chips and not bust out. They cheat you blind and then try to sell you stuff. Basically its like if a mugger stole your wallet and then on the next street corner offered to sell it back to you. So no matter what they change the name of the game to, if its a card game by glu (or probably any game for that matter), it will rob you blind. Stay away from everything they do.

I have tried to get into multiplay over several wifi networks. I know for a fact that I am connected, but this stupid program continuously tells me connection failed. Someone out the got a solution? Otherwise, the AI players are a tough nut to crunch, but I beat em all!

To anyone who says that you need to buy chips: play cash with the free chips you get every day. 2/4 $400 BI is a good place to start. Gotta build a BR before you try and bink a tournament...

Was fun until high stakes games. Then computer would raise with nothing and you can re raise with something good and the will stay in or go all in and win with crap. Real poker with real money not like that. Deleted

??? Everything is the same from WSOP but there is no WSOP championship? So I ask a question to glu, why spend the money on a new app than to just update the first one?

Tried this app, but the other players cant seem to be civil. The buttons to navigate not very well placed or easy to use.

So, when will the advertized Multi-Player functionality actually work?

After I paid for the full version, the app has gotten into a crashed loop twice , its being 2 month since last crash and I cant still play the game. Very frustrating . ... Not good , still waiting for bugs to get fixed. Poor service

Great game needs update to optimize iPhone 5

Love it, its a cool for those who like poker. And like always Glu Games does not dissapoint.

Good game while it lasted wont open on my iPod touch 4th gen. Any longer. To bad I really enjoyed this app a lot. Giving 5 stars because it was so good.

The advertised multiplayer function simply does not work. Nobody is ever sitting at any of the tables. This game does not have multiplayer capability.

Overall I like the game, but its got two major problems. It takes over your music, maybe for the sound effects, I dunno. But if you start the game while listening to anything you have to use the apps music function to select what you were just listening to, which means I only play it at work, never on the bus. Second the AI characters never bust out in the cash games, which robs you of a major sense of achievement. Running up your stack is primary, of course, but the thrill of sending players off the table is right behind it.

The championship of time wasters...if you enjoy sitting at a table waiting for players that never come...this game is for you...dont buy chips thinking youre going to get into a higher stakes game...that doesnt work either...deleting this app works great !!!!...dont delay...

Read Brainscatters review in March 2012. That person hit the nail on the head!!! No need to explain this app. because he said it perfectly. If you want to waste time and loose against a bunch of bots, have fun with it! Youll also never be able to play against real people on this app either!

I really like this game. I dont get why people cant win against the "bots"? Ive taken first several times... That is while I was able to open the game. Ive played this a few times, then I went to play it and it starts to open, and crashes. I uninstalled the game and reinstalled it. Worked great a bunch of times, but now it crashes again just after opening. Id like to keep playing but Im not going to install and uninstall this every time I want to play! Please fix this so I can go back to winning!

The game does not online players. The game does not have statistical accuracy. The bots are slated to win no matter what cards are dealt to a player. I would rate this game below one star but it wont let me
